There are two modes: Phrases and Clock. In Phrases mode, a line scrambles in, holds for a moment, then scrambles out before the next line appears.
Characters resolve from left to right. Early in the effect you see sparse symbols, then denser symbols, then letters and numbers as each character settles. The character set can be switched between Default, Binary, Katakana, Runes, and Braille.
You can type your own phrase and press Enter to queue it. If the current line is waiting in a hold or gap phase, the demo skips ahead to scramble-out so your phrase appears sooner.
Clock mode uses the same scramble-in behavior, but per digit. Only digits that change start a new animation, so most of the clock stays stable while seconds update. Scramble in affects both modes, while Scramble out only affects Phrases mode.
